Manny Tavan
Just had a 3 hour power outage and things got interesting. It’s so cold out that temps started dropping fast. Had to use my 1600w generator to power heaters and circulating pumps for both tank. Then when the power came back both tanks had overflowing skimmers. The defer command on apex does not work for power outages. Had to add this line which I hope will fix the issue
SuncrestReef
Defer is ignored when the Apex first boots up after a power failure or after a routine reboot. As you mentioned above, use the If Power command to delay the skimmer startup upon the Apex boot up process. Specify the number of minutes to wait: If Power Apex Off 005 Then OFF Be sure to read my instructions here for the proper use of If Power because it will behave differently depending on how your Apex Power Monitor setting is configured: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/apex-code-to-defer-after-outage.787978/#post-8373020
Manny Tavan
Only took me 4 years and 10+ power outages to figure that out
