Trailermann
I want to order a short, three foot extension for my carbon doser but I do not know the proper terminology. Is this a plug, jack, or what, and where can I find it?
Bicyclebill
Crap, there’s multiple sizes for those plug types. I’ve seen multi adapters come with an assortment of most of them. Buy the adapters, then get 3’ extender with any two wire plug design
SuncrestReef
It's called a barrel connector, but you need to know the specific outer and inner diameter. Do you have a caliper to measure it? See this for an example: https://www.amazon.com/5-5mm-Extension-Female-Barrel-Connector/dp/B01LCY9G66

Trailermann
The example show above might be just what I need. Yes, I have a caliper and will follow through with Digikey. I had purchased such a cord almost two years ago, but cannot remember how I found it on line. (Digikey rings a bell.) I’d say 25-25-25-25-90 chance. The adapter kits I’ve had include at least 5 different sizes.
