Saltfishlover
So I've had this shrimp for months in a 90 gal. I feed tank well. I recently posted that he ate one of my cardinal fish. Well today I woke up and found him feasting on my cinnamon clown. Is this common for this shrimp? I'm thinking now he will spend the rest of his life in sump :(. I really like this animal. Any advice?
Jack-the-reefer
Those big claws aren’t hugging. They get pretty aggressive when they get big.
Saltfishlover
Yeah, but I didn't read or hear anything about them snatching fish.
xxkenny90xx
I had one for a few years, it was a model citizen (until it got eaten by my puffer). But I have heard rare cases of them being aggressive

No. They will push the fish away from the territory it staked, but they are far too slow to catch a healthy fish. Its possible at night, but I'd be surprised if he caught and ate a healthy fish. Saltfishlover
Well woke up today and saw the shrimp with another cardinal in his mouth. Any ideas how to fish him out of a 90gal tank? The shrimp, not the fish Edited December 22, 2020 by Saltfishlover Added shrimp
