techymechy Posted August 22, 2020 Share Posted August 22, 2020 I have a NIB IceCap 430 ballast with new wiring harness. This is an excellent VHO/PC fluorescent ballast. This is an electronic ballast which is perfectly quiet and operates the tubes at a much higher frequency which is tuned for optimal fluorescence (light output) and longest life. The manufacturer says that the ballast uses 40% less power and provides 40% higher illumination from the tubes. https://www.coralvue.com/icecap-430-vho-ballast-120vac-60hz This would be ideal for the bulbs and the 2' hood I'm selling or if you are using fluorescents on your aquarium.
