Go for it. I may want a frag of the purple ribbon if you make one.. I've got 3 currently. Another purple branching, the pink one, and a red/ orange with yellow polyps

Fragging Gorgonians is pretty easy.  Here is the basic process.

1)  Get yourself a single edge razor or perhaps a very sharp knife.

2)  Cut the ribbon where you want to frag it.  You can do this in the tank with sharp scissors or lay the colony on a plastic cutting board (or similar surface) and cut it with the razor.

3) Place the frag on the cutting board and use the razor to cut part way through the bottom 1/8" or so of the the frag and then use the razor to scrape the flesh away from the tough cord that runs up the center of the gorgonian like a backbone.  Flip it over and repeat to remove the flesh on the other side.  You should now have a frag with a handy mounting cord sticking out of it at the bottom.

4)  You can glue that cord into a small hole in a rock or take a small drill bit that you don't care about and drill a small hole in a reef plug and glue it into that.

If you try to just glue the flesh of the Gorgonian, it will sometimes cause it to rot.  Much better to strip the flesh before gluing.
