I withdrew from the comp but secretly kept my piece- It didn't die as I said LOL I'll break out the DSLR later and post a pic, mine reminds my of the icefire echinata for its coloring..... I fragged, mounted, and dipped every single piece myself. Everyone received their frag that I personally dropped off at various locations. Unfortunately only one other person besides myself that got a frag participated (Gil&fin) in the grow out. Everyone else went MIA. It was a huge let down and is why I will not waste time and energy on doing another grow out. On the bright side I gave a friend a small piece for safekeeping. About a year later I was able to collect a frag of it back and it is beautiful. I see now, that was the frag lineup for the grow out. I missed this one so wasn't aware of how it went down - could see why that would dissuade you from trying again. Seems like the current grow out is going better but that had a buy in. Hopefully this guy will get re-established in the community and back to Tim since he was so generous in the first place.
