defigart
When I bought my 90 gallon SW tank, it came with an overflow box. I preferred to use the continuous syphon overflow that I had. All three pieces are here. It is missing a small screw, but Woody says he most likely has this piece. I don't know how much to ask for this, so make an offer. I will accept trades for stuff, (animals, rock, test kits, equipment, etc) for my reef tank.
Guest saltCreep
Is this over flow still available and would you ship? I'm planning a 40g reef do you think this overflow would work for a small tank that size?
defigart
Its big enough, may be to big. It was on a 90. I would consider shipping, on your dime of course.
Guest saltCreep
Yea, I'm afraid the flow rate may be too high.
ThePremiumAquarium
I don't think it would be a problem. The way most of them work, they should handle anywhere from 250gph to almost 600gph with a single "j" pipe. Garrett
dsoz
An overflow works only on what RETURNS to the tank. It is OK if it is rated for more water than you return to the display. Having too much capacity is not the issue that you should wory about. The only issue would be that the box that goes in the tank will look HUGE compared to the size of the tank. dsoz
