Bevo5 Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 I've got a bit of a cyano issue in my newish (4month) old 200g. It's not THAT bad, but it's ugly and I don't like it. I've been cutting down on lighting hours and doing more water changes, but I'm thinking maybe I'll hook up a bio pellet reactor so I'm not doing 30-40g water changes every week. So - what are the basics? My main question is if I need the output of the reactor to go straight into my skimmer - or just kind of exit int the same sump chamber. I'm not sure I can it hooked up to spit it right into the pump of the skimmer, but I can get it close. For the 200g...I need like a 4-5cup capacity? I see the cheap BRS units with no pump...should I just splurge and get the one with the pump included? Any advice is great. Any used units? Thanks. Quote

Zwickm Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 I'd love to see feedback on this thread as I'm looking at doing the same thing. Have never used a biopellet reactor before. Sent from my SM-G925T using Tapatalk Quote
