Blue Z Reef Posted January 23, 2016 Share Posted January 23, 2016 Yeah they really shouldn't have done ceramic shaft on ceramic bearings. This is a nice simple fix though, I was telling people to sand it down a bit to keep things loose (way too tight of tolerances). Only downside I see is if the plastic tube wears and the impeller gets off balance it could potentially make the magnet contact the side and jam. I was going to make some out of delrin so they slowly wore out and there isn't a solution for DC pump line.
