BDave
My sump and 25 gallon refugium is setting side by side. My sump is 16" tall and my tank is 19". I just sawed a hole right above the sump then installed a bulkhead with a 90 deg elbow for the water to drain to the skimmer chamber. I'm not done plumbing yet so 100% of my main tank water flows though the refugium. I only have a QuiteOne 1200 as a return so the flow isn't that much. ReefNoobie
How do you keep micro bubbles from going into display tank? Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
BoringDave
I like the way I was censored for describing the way I cut the glass. Hahahaha! The sump is a Eshopps RS-75 and it has a factory installed bubble trap.
Blackice
You can add a sock the the skimmer outlet or add a bubble trap. Or you can add space from skimmers/drains and return pump the longer the distance for less bubbles you will have.
ReefNoobie
I just ordered the tunze doc 9410, check it out and see if that's what u mean, its for media and bubbles. Do the socks take care of "ALL" the microbubbles? There is a lot of space between my inlet and outlet but its very high flow in my sump, so it doesn't get enough time to rise nd/or pop.
