Metal Halide

Have not used metal halides in a while. They really heated up the basement and really sucked up the power. I have to say leds have come a long way but still like the ati t5 lights better. I live the spread of them and they don't have the shadowing and just all the color combinations. I'm sticking with my maxspect as I like the programmable feature and the look and that I don't have to change out the bulbs!

I still run MH, and have no reason to change. The tank only requires a single 250w fixture, and I run it as a pendant, so the cost and heat aren't really factors for me.

LEDs may be more practical for most applications, but nothing looks as nice as a Radium or Phoenix IMO.
