new2saltwater
Its been a long time since I have wanted to photograph anything in my tank. I have been battling green hair algae for quite some time. At one point it was a thick fur on every surface in my tank with a layer of red fur on the entire sand bed. I am finally winning the battle and the tank is starting to look pretty dang good

new2saltwater
Great looking tank man! What did the trick for your GHA battle? not sure exactly what did it. I fed my fish half as much over the course of the last 4 months. Water changes every 2 weeks. Fresh carbon every 2 weeks and fresh GFO every 4 weeks. Added a variety of snails. Replaced the protein skimmer about 6 months ago. It has been quite a battle. I didn't have near the problems with my 100 gallon tank as I have battled with this tank.
