Paratore
I just found this little guy in my tank! I have read that there are both good ones and bad ones. How do you tell if it is good? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

JManrow
Some have been known to eat zoas. I get rid of them when I see them.

catfish2
Some people say the white/light colored ones are fine, but the grey/black speckled/colored ones will eat Zoas. I've only ever seen one harming anything in my tank. It was eating a zoa and sure enough, it was a grey one. I'd vote to get rid of it if you can. JManrow
Looks like I'll be tossing him out to be on the safe side! Even one star can divide. I have seen single legs detach and become new sea stars. I'm not familiar with division of the tiny asterina stars, but some people have posted that they do.
