Lovesalt
"Nemo" is kind of a jerk these days! If I get even a finger in the water he's after me. Bites and lunges. He even jumped out of the tank coming after me when I was trying to clean the glass. The fall just about did him in but after the shock of it all and some sideways swimming he's fine. And trying to kill me again... Dude. Don't bite the hand that feeds you!

Higher Thinking
I have the same issue with the male in my tank. I've found that when I remove my wedding ring, he goes after my hand much less frequently. I think the glare and shimmer freaks him out because the ring is what he always hits when he lunges. rworegon
Clowns are notorious for this kind of behavior. It's the Damsel in them.

eclipse522
This is why I will hopefully never get a clownfish, no matter how amazing their colors can be.
Exodus
I love my clown, he does make it hell to try and clean the tank thats for sure, but I always figured he recognized my hand as food and he was just telling me he wants to be fed, they are glutents like any other fish so its not like he knows better
Lovesalt
I've had lots of clowns before, even a pair that laid eggs but they never came after me. And I don't think he's hungry. He's just an A.

Smann
I had a huge Clarkii that would bite when I got near her anemone, she met her demise when she went for my arm when I was reaching across the top of the tank. She shot up from the bottom, must of moved my arm and shot up hit a 400w MH which exploded, I thought she fell back into the tank but found her later behind the tank her face was all black, Heck of a mess to clean up with the glass in the tank and a nice burn on my arm!
