I recently upgraded to a slightly larger skimmer so this one is ready to go. The skimmer is 3 years old but only used for two of those 3 years. These are around $400.00 so I'm asking $165.00 or best offer. Harold B Posted April 16, 2015 Share Posted April 16, 2015 I've got a larger sump with a SWC 250a (Askoll pump) currently using an HY-500 BB but the Askoll w/ correct pinwheel (I have NIB) does out do the BB IMO. And that's because the BB's can handle VERY LITTLE back pressure. Ya even the pressure from the water that fills the skimmer is enough to lose some performance.
