Ninjabeaver
Hey I have this strange fuzzy red algae that apparently likes to grow only on coraline algae and was wondering if anyone could identify it or has it themselves.

Ninjabeaver
Google Turf algae-time for an Urchin if so, not much will touch it Yes, pretty much what I found out, its interesting that it is only liking to grow on the coralline...probably wont do much since I should be switching to my new tank in the next couple of weeks. Some people had good luck with turbos, but I have never kept a turbo alive in that tank for some reason.
Jorge
How about a sea hare? Just keep an eye on it, and make sure it doesn't get in a fight with your powerheads..
rworegon
I had a rather large matt of it growing on a rock in my anemone tank. I peeled it of and it's now in the fuge.

reefnjunkie
The red turf I've experienced doesnt peel and nothing (NOTHING) eats it other than the Halloween Urchin I picked up specifically sought out for just that task. That's just my experiance tho- hopefully its dies in the move
MrBret
Going to agree with Brad here.....had the same thing at one point on some large live rock pieces. Halloween urchin only thung that took it out. Completely gets it.
