kristopherdb
Anyone have any suggestion for light settings? I am only an inch off the water as I wanted to keep hood for now. Edited March 30, 2015 by kristopherdb
Blue Z Reef
It depends on what corals you are putting in. Since it's so low though, your probably gonna overpower most corals if you exceed about 40% Not sure if the optics can be removed but that would be the only way to safely crank them higher
LadySaber
I have my OR 14" over my 10gallon tank and have the whites set to 25% and my blues at 75%. Even now I think it might be to much.
Exodus
yup optics can be removed and upgraded and as you installed the light into the lid of the biocube including the splash shield you should be safe to remove them, simply remove the 4 screws on the bottom and lift the halves apart and the lenses will just fall right out.
