LadySaber
I have a sump that was given to me that has a 1-1/4" (1.25) hole cut on the side near the bottom. I want to plug this hole but I do not want to use a piece of acrylic to make a patch. I want to plug it with a bulkhead in case I ever need to use it. What do I need to plug this with a bulkhead? I am starting to work on getting my 30 gallon set up.
Blackice
A 1 1/4 thread bulkhead and a threaded plug from hardware store works great.

Blackice
You can use the slip bulkheads and glue a plug in to it but then that all you can use it for just a plunge with the threaded ones you can reuse it.

LadySaber
yeah I talked to Jason about it, he told me just to bring it next time I'm down and he will help me plug it What a awesome guy. I just wanted to see what I might need to bring with me to help out. I will just drag it over next week when I have to get my next water fill up. And of course find something I cant live without in my tank :P
