vanz
Who here feed live/frozen/freeze dried black worms to their fish? I came across an article by paulb on reef2reef about never having any diseases in all his decades of fish keeping and he owes it all to the black worms that he feeds. I just bought some live black worms from world of wet pets and will give them a try. I was really looking for frozen (since I don't have to maintain the culture) but that's all they have. earthbound
I started my copperband on live one's and now feed freeze dried one's to my tank a couple times a week. Just about every fish I have goes nuts for them. THATS WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!!!!!!
vanz
First try didn't go so well. They circled the worms with apprehension and didn't eat them. Worms died within seconds of hitting the substrate. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
TheClark
My fish like em too!
badxgillen
Yeah I even feed em to my anemones, I some times can get really finicky fish to eat by putting in just a few of these little guys with the circ pumps off. Although I have seen the behavior you are describing, the first or second go around they may find them too foreign, but give it another try with fewer worms because once one goes for it the rest will follow suit.
