Nice Clams

was at SWF yesterday and took a couple of pictures. Patricks shop is looking good. It was nice to see a couple of octopi running around loose in a couple of tanks(clap). Never got a pic of the octopi but took some pics of clams.

My tank is finally a year old so I'm thinking about giving a clam a try. Those maximas are stunning but I think a derasa would be a better starter clam

I saw those the other day, they're really nice little clams and Patrick said he was getting like 1500 inverts coming in on Fri

I think the top one is 60 and the other is 90, the 2nd one is even nicer than the pic. I saw them earlier in the week and it was tough passing them up as nice as they are but I'm happy with the one I grabbed(whistle) I nearly snagged another when I went back- tomorrow may be another story though(naughty)

Just got back from there ( Patrick is babysitting some corals for me) and he has a few more, some sweet ones too

i just got back from SWF and saw the clams. The ones pictured on this thread are about 1.5 - 2 inches. There are a few other at this size and then there are a few gold Maximas in the 3-4" size as well as a very nice 6+" Crocea.

Yes his Green Carpets were nice as well. They seem to love that wave tank alot. I remember the fist time that he actually put carpets in that tank, you could tell right away they loved the motion of the ocean.
