NoobtoSalt Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Glad this isn't my tank. Saw this on R2R and figured I would post it up here. Tank was built and installed about 6 years ago by Living Color in FL. http://articles.sun-sentinel.com/2012-09-02/news/fl-fish-tank-break-casino-brf-20120902_1_casino-park-gulfstream-s-director-hazmat-team
matty Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Oh that sucks! I would just put my feet up and keep playing (laugh)
ZachS Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 When I saw your caption I was thinking "awe man that sucks noon" happy it turned out to not be your tank
NoobtoSalt Posted September 4, 2012 Author Posted September 4, 2012 The sad thing is that none of the staff seemed to know what to do. :( Supposedly they were able to save all of the fish but who really knows. Guess there was still about 2 or 3,000 gallons left in the tank, for the puffers, sharks, lionfish, etc.
MVPaquatics Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Unfortunately there is not much you can do....why did the water look green? Probably stunk too.
Toby Flenderson Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Wow, yeah nothing you can do about that except whip out your camera. Have you ever seen that video of the leaking super aquarium in a Dubai mall? It was probly a mantis that did it.
Emerald525 Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 I love how everyone was calmly walking around and some people were continuing to play while gallons of saltwater is pouring out next to all the electrical outlets.(scary)
Bigjohnwoody Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Is that at Mandalay bay? I swear I saw that tank last time I was in Vegas.
Emerald525 Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 Is that at Mandalay bay? I swear I saw that tank last time I was in Vegas. Wow you were actually sober enough to remember anything? and no it wasn't Mandalay bay .
Gill Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 Wow you were actually sober enough to remember anything? and no it wasn't Mandalay bay . I am banning myself from Vegas... LOL (puke)
Emerald525 Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 I am banning myself from Vegas... LOL (puke) I love Vegas! I don't visit the tanks. I strictly spend all my time at the poker table, or blackjack or the occassional slot. The closest I get to the hobby is playing the Goldfish slot game.

Bigjohnwoody Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 I remember a tank somewhere, but honestly it could have been in the airport. I just picked Mandalay because they seemed like the best chance for a correct guess. Lol. I truly was drunk the entire time. Put it this way.... I don't drink and play poker, so I've never played a hand in Vegas.(laugh) Wow you were actually sober enough to remember anything? and no it wasn't Mandalay bay .
