Emerald525
Jackie here is a nice link about the cycling process of a tank. It's on a different forum but I thought it was short sweet but scientific: http://www.reeffrontiers.com/content/64-cycling-recycling-your-tank.html

Science006
Went to Petco and talked to Ryan yesterday. I bought a couple of snails and added them to the tank. Boy have they cleaned it up nicely. The students are loving it. They have found more small critters rooming around. Some Centipede type worms and tiny shrimp looking animals, bunch of these. Every day is an adventure. Mohaynow
Centipede type worms are most likely bristle worms, ugly but helpfull (if they are bristle worms) and the tiny shrimp looking animals are copepods, they are a good sign that you tank is healthy and a tasty snack for its inhabitants. Emerald525
Thanks for the update! I gave Roy a bunch of corals. Donated by me, reefsafari, breefcase , and a local wholesaler on ebay Golden basket! You should be well stocked when the tank is done with the cycling process. It sounds like you're pretty close! Coralcrazy, racefan, and stylaster are local to you too and can help out! Sent from my BlackBerry 9630 using Tapatalk
