The first test was with the little par38 bulb I have on my refugium. This was at 19'' par was 178 This was at 11'' par was 416 Then I tested my metal halides, they are 250 watt radiums with lumen bright mini reflectors. 6" from reflector 1645 12'' from reflector 1236 5'' under water at the first coral 724 9'' under water 610 under water 15'' under water 524 1'' off sand bed 450 The par is very good on the sand bed. This was taken at 10 inches under the reflector. keep in mind the bulb sit 2 inches higher than the bottom glass of the lumen bright mini. This is at my sand bed.
