AquaticEngineer
I think giant is an understatement. Nice lookin rock! Thanks, it actually sticks above the water line in the tank, so I guess massive is a better description maybe lol.

Gill
Looks great!!! I'm confused though, why not use costal rock since it's free and all?
drunkreefer
Because it would way a ton in there and we wanted a solid rock not a rock pile!
AquaticEngineer
Looks great!!! I'm confused though' date=' why not use costal rock since it's free and all?[/quote'] There's laws concerning commercial harvest of rock, the foam allows for a more vertical aquascape. Because it would way a ton in there and we wanted a solid rock not a rock pile! There's nothing gayer than the pile.

AquaticEngineer
You guys are getting good at that!' date=' nice work[/quote'] Thanks I think the next one I do I'm going to try a few more colors of paint on it. Next time I'm at the coast I want to take a lot of close up pictures of exposed rocks during the low tides so I can have a visual reference for colors and texture. Smann
What about a Tide pool tank like 4' square and 10" deep, you could even do one of those "Volcano" like returns!!
AquaticEngineer
Saw it yesterday. Looks really good. Are you guys gonna start your own local show like Tanked? Dennis We've already had a guy that works with Discovery film one of our collecting trips, so yeah maybe What about a Tide pool tank like 4' square and 10" deep' date=' you could even do one of those "Volcano" like returns!![/quote'] In the works already I just found out yesterday that there is a new park going in right across the street from my house, so that mean I'm off the hook for building a swingset in the backyard. So that means outdoor tidepool tank is a go Gonna make it using a free used hot tub from craigslist as the basis of the tank.
