Fungia Advice

My Fungia are growing in a cluster and they aren't detaching on their own. Do I leave them alone or do I help them detach? It looks pretty cool the way they are, but it is preventing others from developing with the 3 large ones covering everything. They are approximately 3.5 inches in diameter.

AWESOME corals! I think you are supposed to let them just break off when they get too heavy for the stalk. Then there will be plenty of room for new ones to grow underneith.

Feed those hungry suckers and they will grow faster and fall off quicker.

I have a fungia farm that has been going for about 3 years. They usually fall off on their own. If you want to hurry them up wait till they are about the size of a 50 cent piece. Then tap them from the under side and they should pop off. If it doesn't its not ready to go. Wait a while longer and try again.
