impur
I'm on the 3rd book, its been great but now all my favorite characters are getting killed (flame)(flame)(flame)(flame)(flame)(flame) Its really a great book. I tried reading it a year or so ago, and had to stop because of all the people in it. Was just too hard to keep track. But after i watched the HBO series based on the first book, it helped out a lot and I gave it another shot. Really enjoying it so far. Anyone else read this series? Chief
I'm reading it now. About 1/4 through the second book. So far a great read. I was forewarned that Martin likes to kill off his characters. Jay

impur
The second book is great. The 3rd bring you up to speed on what went on between the scenes in the 2nd book. I hope at least a couple of my favs make it thru, and KILL JOFFERY!!!!!!

Algae
Peter Dinklege won an Emmy for Best Supporting Actor as Tyrion. The new season will begin this, upcoming Spring on HBO. I have an app for my android that has the houses, characters and maps for the series. Joffery is just misunderstood. Putting her father Eddard's head on post was merely a nice gesture to let Sansa remember her father....

Algae
Patrick Rothfuss is really a great fantasy witer. The Kingkiller (lots of kingkilling going on lately) Series has only two books out so far but both are excellent! http://www.amazon.com/Name-Wind-Kingkiller-Chronicles-Day/dp/0756405890/ref=ntt_at_ep_dpt_1 I have book 5 of Fire & Ice "Dance of Dragons" if you want to borrow. impur
haha i can't reveal that! steelhead77
Anybody ever read anything by Christopher Moore? A Dirty Job - Funniest book about death you will ever read Lamb, The Gospel According To Biff - A VERY sacrilegious book about Jesus, the boyhood years. You Suck Bite Me Bloodsucking Fiends - Think the Polar opposite of Twilight for these three Fool - The funniest book I ever read. Also, the only book where I started over immediately as soon as I finished it the first time.
impur
I have not, but i might check into one of those if this current series I'm reading doesn't pick up soon. Thanks for the recommendations

I finished both KingKiller Chronicles books that are out, I can't wait for the final one!! Thanks for recommending that one Franklin, i really enjoyed it! I really need to stop reading these series which still don't have the final books written. In addtion to KingKiller Chronicles, A Song of Ice & Fire, I am waiting for the last 2 books from The Wheel of Time series too ugh. So i'm in the market for a new series. Any suggestions? Was thinking of trying the Dragon Keeper Chronicles or Malazan Book of the Fallen series.
