Jeramy
How large of a tank would you need for a yellow tang to be happy? I am not getting one I was just wondering is all.
NoobtoSalt
Smallest tank I would suggest would be a 75. It really depends on how small of a tang you get though. If it's one of the little baby ones you could probably get away with a 40b for about 6 months or so. Best kept in at least a 6ft tank though. Geez I sound like the tang police....(laugh)
Derbird
Ah ha on this one I can be of service. I have been doing a lot of reading about housing fish lately and the yellow tang gets up to 8" and depending who you ask, no one ever seems to have the same answer they need between 60 and 100 gallons at their adult size. But as with most fish the bigger the better. I hope this helps.
Jeramy
Ah thank you , Looks as though I would have to move first as I barley have room in my apartment for my biocube much less a 6 foot tank. But one can always dream =)
