Nova Southeastern Receives Seized Coral Skeletons

"Nova Southeastern University has received an unusual donation: hundreds of seized coral skeletons. The skeletons, illegally poached in the Solomon Islands, were given to the university by U.S. Customs and Border Protection and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.

 

NSU scientists will examine 22 pallets of the corals for research, educational, and outreach purposes.
