Emerald525
Who watched Tanked last night? I did!(clap)(clap) I thought it was highly entertaining and now I want to go to Vegas again not only to play poker but to go to the Silverton and see the Mermaid Show!(clap)(laugh) I thought it was interesting that it appeared that they added a large amount of fish to the brand new tanks but I suspect that was simply editing. From what I have heard these guys know what they are doing.

Emerald525
wish I had cable TV.... saw the preview for that show I imagine you can get it off the internet. I know not the same as on a big screen tv though. I saw it and thought the same thing.... the forums are gonna explode with flames of them adding 20 fish to a 100 gallon tank minutes after setting it up, lol! pretty entertaining though for geeks like us! Yeah I think the addition of all the fish was purely for show purposes. I mean why do you need to add all those fish so quickly to a quarantine system.(scratch) It's not like you're going to add all the fish at once to the display tank anyway. I cringed when they cut the wall in that multimillion dollar home (scary)to make the quarantine tank fit. Total fish geek fest but I think even non fish geeks would enjoy although now they are going to go buy a tank and set it up in one day and add 20 fish.DOH! spye
I saw it and was amazed at some of the tanks those guys have built and the expense some people will pay. I guess if ya have the $ why not. I was also impressed with the place they went to get the fish. I had no idea places like that even existed. Not a big fan of the two guys and how they are making them appear but I will continue to watch because I love big pimp fish tanks. =)
Smann
Cant remember if there was another thread about this show that was more recent Mr. Saltwater Tank Interviews Brett Raymer, Star of Animal Planet’s “Tanked” http://www.mrsaltwatertank.com/mr-saltwater-tank-interviews-brett-raymer-star-of-animal-planets-tanked/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+mrsaltwatertank+%28mrsaltwatertank%
Nate213
I watched that interview earlier today. It is a good one. I like his plans for the schools. Reminded me of TFT program, but on a much larger scale.

It is ultimately entertaining, but as we are total saltwater geeks it ultimately will not even tip the iceberg of what actually goes into this hobby, ultimately. 7Max-GTE
I'm curious to know who those guys are, given that I knew most of the store owners in Las Vegas when I lived there. ATM (Who I was told build all the displays at the Silverton Casino and Bass Pro Shops) used to have a tank building factory there, but I could have sworn they closed up a few years ago.
