Nancymacc
So I had some Ricordias that I won in an auction shipped from Oregon. Shipped Wednesday and of course I sat home waiting for them yesterday. When I checked the tracking all day it kept saying out for delivery...Seems the Postman never even attempted to deliver them and did not put them in the lock box we have in the apartment mail room.. I am guessing since they were send Delivery Conf and he choose not to come up to my apartment or buzz me....well long story short they are locked in the Renton post office until I can pick them up Monday morning...Post office is closed today... What are the odds that they will still be alive??? Or am I out $80? (sad)I cried as I tried to open the door at the post office this morning and it was locked.... jonas
That is sad to hear. I would think they would not survive. You never know though. Hope it turns out well for you.
Lowman
If any do survive acclimate them very slowly, and dont put them into your water until you open the bags. Some plastic bags are breathable and putting them in the water first will smother the corals. This really sucks and hopefully you talk to the post master at your post office about this carrier and his/her lack of concern for your mail. MVPaquatics
that sucks...I agree...acclimate slowly...at least the weather is on your side...not extremely hot or cold.
