matty
I have been here for quite a while but have not had a tank in quite some time. I set up this little tank on my desk at work after the bug to keep a tank came back (clap) The tank is a 3g jbj pico with a Evil par 38 bulb, aquaclear ac70 and a ato.com ato. I am only going to house Maxi mini carpets and maybe a few Ricordia. I want to keep it very simple. Livestock so far is: 5 lbs cured live rock 3 Maxi minis (thank you emerald) 1 Ricordia Yuma and various snails and hermits Now for the pics: Thanks for looking. I will update as I go! matty
Cute little pico tank. Great idea to just do maxi minis in there. Beth has fragged more! Thank you. I must resist for a week or two (laugh) but your maxis are top notch!
Emerald525
Thanks matt! No worries It takes about 2 to 4 weeks for them to fully heal up!
matty
Surprisingly today I have a huge explosion of pods and quite a few of these: http://www.melevsreef.com/id/jelly.html My snails have also spawned. I am hoping because I have no fish in this tank some of these smaller and cryptic species will thrive. My maxis are doing awesome and have "walked" to higher spots where there is more light. matty
Havn't updated in a bit. Got some new inhabitants: First is a new frogspawn frag and the mangrove you can see in the back Second is a boxer or pom pom crab. Love this little guy. (naughty) I wanted to try to do maxis and inverts only but I like the idea of having a mangrove for looks and excess nutrients and well the frogspawn cuz it's all wavy and stuff. (laugh) I also added the one and only fish I will have. A black and gold damsel. No pic yet as he hides from any camera (threaten)

impur
Pom pom crabs are great, does yours still have his pom poms?
matty
It took me forever but I did find this one with one pom pom. The nem he has is a big one too. I'm hoping he will frag it for his other claw. He's a cool one too because he doesn't hide constantly. He flexes his arms at the fish when he gets to close (laugh)
