J-Dog
What does everyone use to get coralline algae off of glass? I've got a few spots I want to clean, but I don't know what to use to get it off. Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.
impur
Glass - use a razor blade or a paint scraper works well too. I used to get them at the dollar store. acrylic - credit card, scrap piece of acrylic (edges must be straight and no burs), acrylic scrapper. I also use those melamine magic sponges for the bathroom, does a great job on acrylic.
J-Dog
The corners on the front of my tank are curved, what should I use for those spots?
impur
Should still be able to use a razor blade. Even a credit card will work on glass try that.
nhowe
Try your Albertson's or safeway card. They are usually made of very flexible plastic and don't crack like an old visa. You're going to have to put in some elbow grease using the credit card.
NoobtoSalt
I dont remember the name of this scrubber I use but it works out great. Its made to clean dishes but doesn't hurt the acrylic. Sent from my SCH-I500 using Tapatalk
J-Dog
Does it work on glass too? I also need something too clean the glass in general. Do any of the LFS's carry any good glass cleaners besides the magna floats?

Do any of the LFS's carry any good glass cleaners besides the magna floats? I also use a Kent scrapper that works well for coraline. I have to scrape it off weekly from my tank it grows so fast on the front glass. I let the sides get quite a bit on. I like it but would love to see the corals that I paid lots of money for instead...LOL

grassi
They work great. I use them for cleaning the skimmer collection cup and to brush my teeth as well (with the same pad i use for the skimmer).
