wtb lighting for a 30 gal

I recently got a 30 gal setup that is severely lacking in the lighting department. Tank is 30 inches wide. If someone has something that would work, let me know.

T-5 or 150-175 watt halide should be adequate.

Thanks,

Bobby

Thanks John! And thanks for the loan of the buckets so I could get the tank moved.

Trautman,

I am going to try to avoid having to build a canopy for this thing, but I may start to lean that way if I don't find a fixture that will work. I appreciate the response, and will keep it in mind. Just out of curiosity, are these for HO t-5s? what length bulbs will the ballast drive and how many tubes?

Thank you.

That looks awesome John! I'm a little light on the funds for it until I get paid. I'm seriously thinking about selling my 30-06 to fund this. I could also use this to upgrade when I inevitably move to a bigger tank(looks around to see if wife is looking)

I have a 70w sunpod if you want to go that route. If so shoot me a pm and we can work something out.

If this was a 150 watt, I'd be all over it. Unfortunately, 70w is a little less than I want to put over this tank. I appreciate the offer though.

did you see the lights in this post for sale?

Thanks for the heads up Jeff. I've been pm'ing back and forth with the seller about these, and now just have to work out payment/shipping arrangements (gas to PDX and back would cost me more than the lights). Not as powerful as I would like, but it will definitely keep some softies happy for now.:D
