Harold B
I swapped out 4 reef optix II reflectors that were aprox. 15" from the water to Lumenarc III"s that are now about 4" or 5" lower. My question is how much of a difference in light will the corals be exposed to? Will I need to somehow acclimate them if indeed these reflectors will make that much of a difference along with being 4" or 5" closer to the water? I don't want to kick off a bleaching/STN epidemic. My MH's will turn on at 9:30, what should I do? Thanks Harold
finch6013
what size tank and lights do you have? when the lights kick on gauge how much of a difference it made and then decide what to do. In my op you probably wont have much MORE light just better coverage.

markdadof2
Be careful of the added heat to the water column.
