talkalot82 Posted November 26, 2010 Share Posted November 26, 2010 Id say that with the amount you paid for it u should a just have it hang over like I do, b. sell it and get what u actualy want but I think its better to have more lighting.. the t5 doesnt really produce the heat.. I have that same fixture over a long tank hanging over and all is happy in my tank. none shun away from the light. not even my candy canes or mushrooms and I have a gbta and a rbta doing great too. also the cutting the fixture doesnt work with the current.
