(laugh)(laugh)(nono)For those of you under a rock who have missed the drama from time to time there have been several new phrases coined here. (clap)Please know these are all in fun and not meant to be mean spirited and if you feel I have gone over the line please let me know as my intention is just to add a little humor to the forum.(laugh) This is how I am with my friends and feel free to take shots at me as well as it's all in fun!

 

These are in no particular order and I will start with me to show this is truly meant to have fun:

 

Emerald-to throw up a poll on any subject and use every emoticon and every colored letter of every size.(laugh)

 

Aleternative definition: To artificially raise your post count without saying anything relevant to the saltwater hobby in a pathetic attempt to be funny(laugh)

 

 

Example: The forum was almost shut down because the bandwith was used up by everyone emeralding in the forum.

I would be a whale too if I emeralded all the time.

Simile: Noobtosalt:p

 

 

Reefnjunkie-to post inflammatory remarks in the forum without using one's frontal lobes to filter ( love ya Brad just kidding my friend!(laugh))

 

This often occurs for some reefers while drinking and posting.

 

Example: I reefnjunkied that post I hope my thread does not get closed down.(scary)

 

Similes: JGF and Emerald525

 

Ca2OR-to delete ones thread and pretend like it never happened. This typically occurs when you have reefnjunkied(laugh)

 

Example: I am so glad I Ca2Ored that thread quickly before anyone could see when I reefnjunkied the forum last night.(laugh)

 

Last one for now so everyone knows I'm a fair and balanced:

 

Grassi- a post with hints of a foreign accent and use of occassional complex three syllable words which is often confusing to us simpler minded (me) members of the forum.

 

Example: All I could say to that Grassi was huh?

Cyberbully-a term loosely used by a certain schoolteacher who spends too much time with preteens (whistle) to refer to certain more opinonated/outspoken people in this forum.:p

 

Alternative defnition:

To be opinionated and outspoken (threaten) (see flame) and have named person feign a deep emotional wound to gain forum sympathy;)

 

 

Example:Watch me cyberbully this thread with my sad emoticon (sad)(sad)and make everyone forget about the original topic!

 

and because you asked...

 

Mytshall- to blatantly neglect corals in a group by growout and let them die.

 

Example: I will kick you in the crotch if you mytshall this growout.(laugh)

 

Similar term

Soprano-not quite the same but the fastest way to lose 600 bucks in a group buy growout!(laugh)

 

Example: Sorry guys for sopranoing the growout but at least I didn't mytshall the deal.

 

Opposite term:Noob

 

Example: Let me try to noob those mytshalled frags before they get sopranoed!(laugh)

Drama denial-to post a complaint that the forum has gone to hell with all the drama while simulataneously refreshing said drama laden thread 100 times in 5 seconds!(laugh)

Example: My thread about my chalice was deleted becaue I sympodiumed it!(laugh)

 

Alternative definition:

Sympodium- secret special private wholesaler who provides rare unusual "freebies" also known as EBAY;) (hmmmm what is she talking about(scratch))

 

 

Cyber-add to any username to create an imaginary forum friend.

 

Example: I am never lonely now that I have cyberbuddy to talk to.

 

Similar to Cyber

 

Zoalander-similar to cyber but instead of creating it out of needing a friend the goal is to improve one's selling reputation.

 

Example: I zoalandered my duncan sale thread to get people more interested in it.

This one's appropriate because it seems many of my terms come from the growouts!

 

Growout-a way to build camaraderie , learn new growing techniquies, and obtain rare zoas and chalices you wouldn't normally be able to afford!(clap) (The Clay definition;))

 

Alternative Reefnjunkie definition: A way to get completely ****ed by your fellow reefers stir up **** and flood the forum with all kinds of drama laden drivel!(laugh)

 

 

 

And staying on topic of Growout definitions:

 

Red hornet-to be barraged by a string of posts and accussed of fragging an expensive zoa for personal gain simply for not posting a picture;)

 

Example: I'm afraid those zoas have been mytshalled so I'm going to red hornet this thread. (Please note you may also reefnjunkie at that point but your thread will likely be closed down!

 

 

Alternative defnition:To hold zoas in a growout hostage and or sell said zoa when a fellow grower has mytshalled their frags.(scary)

 

Simile-nightmare zoa;)Example: I'm going to red hornet your zoa frags for mytshalling and I expect you're going to cyberbully the thread and if you do I will just go in and Ca2OR it!

Emerfantic-to act like you don't care about a person's posts in the forum and that you can actually ignore them while simultaneously posting it in your signature and changing your avatar to prove otherwise(laugh)(laugh)

Photoalibi-To blame something you may have done on someone else and proving your case with a picture
