8 chambers of fun

check out my new refugium??? I was thinking I could get four different types of macro algae for the first four chambers. I want to use at least one for xiena. What do you guys think? Any ideas of cool stuff that can fit in a cube that small?

You could easily do clown gobies in the various cubes, different type of clown goby for each cube

I love clown gobys thats a good idea I wonder if there is a mantis that small???

6 inches. have you ever seen the green or yellow mantis?

Heard but never seen, but at 6", you're going to want a mantis that gets no bigger than 3" or so LOL

Ya that would never work. I had only seen them in youtube videos and they must have been babies because they were way smaller than that LOL.

I like the clown goby idea personally, there's black an yellow an citron an green an the pandas an so on an so forth, get a pair of each, see if you can get them to breed even....

I got it from The Aquarium in oregon city, they had one more for sale. I am really not looking forward to trying to keep it clean LOL.

You should take one or two chambers out then you might be able to have a mantis. Or shimp n gobys

That dose look like a great idea!! low flow, separate the dif macros. I like it!

 

For those who are thinking this would be a great idea and want to know whare to get one like that, The Nano Reef has two of them and I'd bet if you offered them a fair price they would sell one to ya.

thnx. The light is 80 watts so I think pom pom xenia will do well.

So I got my patch cut out of 1/4" acrylic can I use super glue gel to put it in place? Do I need do get the stuff tank builders use or will the super glue hold?

supper glue wont melt the acrylic together and has a real potential of leaking, IMO it will be well worth the drive and $4 to go to Tap and get a tube of weldon 16.

I was thinking a trip to tap plastics was going to be required. I tried to stop by on Sunday but they were closed, oh well tomorrow.
