puntific
OK... so with the RTN, dip? with what?
Mandinga
with RTN, a dip doesn't really help anything. 1st step, is identifying the source. I have had things RTN overnight after touching another coral... I would suggest fragging off the dead/dying spots. RTN tissue will possibly eventually overtake the whole coral. It's kind of like stopping a wildfire...frag off the good areas before the fire hits them. I lost a bali acro last week after it touched a cyphastrea frag...my entire colony RTN'd in less than 2 days. SPS... Sometimes RTN will stop on it's own...just watch your coral closely...if that dead spot is getting bigger and bigger everyday, frag and save what you can. Emerald525
as far as what to use as a dip. I use revive and have used coral rx but agree cutting off the dead area if it keeps spreading may be helpful. Gotta love sps!DOH!
puntific
Well, I fragged the crap out of it. So far the next day, all frags are doing well. We'll see in a week how I did... thanks for all the input. puntific
