lucid
Wanted to get some input on ideas for livestock in my 55g. Wanted it to be a reef tank with bright and catchy corals. But to also have cool livestock as well. The only thing i had planned on getting was a pair of clown fish and an anemone. I also was entertained by the possibility of having some sort of predator in the tank that would of course not touch the clownfish. What's common to have in a 55g tank? Just looking for ideas! dee77
You could get a blue jaw trigger but he will eat shrimp and you may want to be carefull with a anemone in a reef tank cuz they move and can sting your corals
lucid
OK, i see a bunch of sites offering reef packages including a bunch of hermit crabs etc. are these a good value? and if so, at what point can i put these "packages" in my tank. Its been running for a week now and just put in established live rock yesterday with corals already on some pieces.
stylaster
I second the blue throat trigger, has been a model citizen in my tank so far (4 months i have had him) I would stay away from any groupers, lionfish, or eels. I would recommend wrasses they are usually great fish for community tank and wont bother the corals
