darrellw
Just emptied my skimmer cup this morning, and the skimmate was bright blue! Anyone ever had that? No apparent problems in the tank, I did start EcoBAK in the tank on Sunday, but it doesn't seem like that should have even kicked in yet. impur
Is the EcoBAK a blue liquid?
darrellw
Is the EcoBAK a blue liquid? No, it is a solid carbon source (and it is white).
impur
Had never heard of it before. Guess it rules that out. Any pumps have blue labels or something on them in the tank? Could anyone have dumped a blue liquid into the tank at some point, like a child? Other than those i have no clue sorry.
coralreefer
probably is eco-bak...I'm running NP BIOPELLETS and originally skimmate was greenish blue...will slowly disappear over time if that is culprit...

grassi
Put your skimmer a few hours in a tub with some saltwater. Then add EcoBAK and see if it gives you technicolor skimmate
