i have a sqwd and i want to use it for a close loop for a frag tank but the suck up way too much flow anyone know of a mod for a sqwd so it doesnt loose as much flow or something i just dont want to fork out 200 bucks for OM.

There are mods out there. Check RC and nano-reef. I'm working on one myself. It looks like you have to port out all the holes and increase the diameter for more flow in and out.

Yah some people at RC have rebuilt them completely allowing much more flow, better access to cleaning, and better ways to connect your plumbing to them.
