talkalot82
so I was at aqua serine and they had theses two cute cuddle fish about an inch and half or so.. I want one. not in my reef tank. I don't think they are compatable.. they changed colors to their surroundings. they say they are camelans of the ocean.. I don't think they are official fish. they are in the squid and octopus family.. Im thinking I wanna set up another tank. I hear they have a cuddle bone ulike squid and octopus so they dont excape... Has Anyone tried them?
Gill
That is cool, do you mind if I ask how much they cost? I have never seen them for sale before. I have seen them in the wild though its amazing the way they change color!!!
CA2OR
Re: cuddle fish I looked into this a while back but my research led me to the understanding that they don't live very long in tanks. But maybe you will have better luck Sent from my Droid using Tapatalk
jason7504
they are awesome but they like octopuses only live like 6 months in captivity

talkalot82
So i went back and he fed the cuddle fish for me they changed colors and shape. they made themselves look kinda like a piffer fish with spikes. they ate the whole fish, and they have this tenacle that shoots out its mouth and raps around the prey. Its like the movie aliens.. so cool. he said that he hatched both of the cuddle fish.. [language filter] i need to convince my hubby I need a new tank and fast befor they are gone
CrazyInside
You should get a cuttle fish and feed it these
ReeFit
I thought it was mispelled. its with TT not DD. i was going to say, who would want to cuddle with a squid. we put frozen cuttlefish in our DIY reef food. at least the fish like them. reef165
Waves had one way back when. I believe they are allot like octopus and there life cycle is only like 1.5 years and in a tank it is a little shorter.
ClayTheSavageFraser
I don't. Think they are going anywhere, just talked to austin. They are 80 bucks a pop. Clay

cellowithgills
UO has anywhere between 3 and 10 at times. My dad took care of them for part of his degree, so he let me help him feed them and stuff. The small ones seemed to be really sensitive to stress and any time something changed in the room, some of them would kick the bucket. They were really cool though. defigart
they are awesome but they like octopuses only live like 6 months in captivity Depending on species, they only live 12 - 18 months in the wild. Doran
