Algae
As a fellow graduate member of Newfisher's School of Theoretical Geese Migration I must commend him! Thanks Max for the use of the overflow and the advice to use muriatic acid to clean it. That stuff is evil/wonderful. BTW: While researching muriatic acid. I ran across a thread where someone had a huge PH spike and ran and dumped muriatic acid in the tank. It actually worked. Which begs the question. Was he: A. Dumber than a bag of hammers? B. Very lucky? C. Very knowledgeable?
grassi
Just a few minutes ago I was reading this article: http://www.melevsreef.com/280g/280g_sump.html and I was about to write you! Down at the end of the page he's using muriatic acid for cleaning pipes. A Kalk solution works in the same way
7Max-GTE
I graduated that class with honors...Sadly I think he missed me when he was mailing out diplomas, because one would look GREAT next to my honorary Doctor of Metaphysics... So the acid worked for you? What concentration did you use? I seriously used the same solution to acid wash my old garage floor...It is incredible!
