R-3
There are several to choose from. How much money and what size of tank? Just seahorses? Later Ryan
reefgeek84
Well, the tank is the eclipse with the hood and light set up so I do not have a lot of room to work with...there is a small section where I have about 3"x3" space to work with...so my options seemed limited...I will have a pair of seahorses and possibly a small goby and some zoas...but not a big bio load...So I guess I will not have a skimmer. R-3
Theres definately not much to work with there . Yeah just do waterchanges. You should be okay. Later Ryan
reefgeek84
I know I did it before, with out a skimmer...but for 30 bucks, it might not be that bad of a loss if it does not work...
R-3
Yeah they are pretty cheap. Maybe it just needs to be modded? Yeah if you dont mind being out $30 then go for it. Later Ryan
impur
I'm sure you can get a used one for 10 bucks. The main problem is that they are just too small to do what we need. You'll get MB like crazy, but there are ways to help eliminate that. The other thing is the collection cup being so small, but if you tap it and put in a drain that fixes that problem. For the price you might as well get one and mod it like crazy. If it doesn't work for you, eh oh well. nano-reef.com has a bunch of mods for em.
