tidalsculpin Posted December 6, 2006 Posted December 6, 2006 Looking to find a good strong skimmer for a school tank that will carry a medium to high bioload. The tidepool tank dream is coming along. Envision acrylics is helping me with a display and a sump will be built from a tank the school owns. I have about 100 bucks to spend on it. no preference on needle wheel or venturi or brand name (except sea clone of course)-- just want one that pulls skimmate well and can handle a lot of mysis shrimp feedings each day. tidalsculpin Posted December 6, 2006 Author Posted December 6, 2006 do sea clones even cost a hundred bucks? Quote
mister crabs Posted December 6, 2006 Posted December 6, 2006 lol...i dunno....the CSS I saw had the propellor blades drilled with extra holes and was modded to drain into a larger container....i think thats all it had. But then again this was back when i first started even researching reef tanks s o my eye was a lil untrained. Quote
