siskiou Posted December 1, 2006 Posted December 1, 2006 Anyone know of a place (near Eugene) that has a healthy one that eats prepared foods? Or a Hector's? I'd really like one as my first fish, but they seem to be hit or miss (more miss as far as the experiences go). Quote
Shooter9er Posted December 1, 2006 Posted December 1, 2006 I had both of them together and the rainsford lasted about a year while the hector lasted about 3 months. I still have no idea why the disappeared but they are beautiful fish. Quote
Palani Posted December 2, 2006 Posted December 2, 2006 Yeah I had a rainfordi and a hectori together in the same tank and the larger rainfordi I think beat the hectori to death. But that same rainfordi is still with me until today. I got my big fat healthy rainfordi at Waves. I mean it's the biggest rainfordi that I've seen and so has everyone who has seen my tank. Just make sure you have pretty fine sand and lots of it. Not to mention I saw mines eating some red hair algae, and I'm sure they eat green hair algae as well. Quote
tidalsculpin Posted December 2, 2006 Posted December 2, 2006 I saw a rainsford over at Liquid Sunshine a week ago in their frag section. Pretty fish. Quote
