impur
Ducks got the win at ASU last night. It was a tough game, Ducks didn't play well and ASU really stepped up their D. But in the end the Ducks pulled it out 60-55. Malik had a good game back after missing 5 games, 13pts 8reb in 20min of action. Beavs played Zona tough, lost by 11. Its gonna be a long season in Cornvallis. Ducks are up to a #3 seed on ESPN's power 16 too! Next up for the Ducks at Zona on national tv saturday at 5:30!!!!!!! GO DUCKS!!! 15-1 baby!!! impur
16-1!!!!! Another great game to watch, and another gritty win by the Ducks. AB is unstoppable. That is for certain now. Shakur couldn't stop him, Afflalo couldn't. And he wins another game for us. Oregon is the team to beat in the PAC10 this year!!!!! GO DUCKS!! Good job beavs getting your first conf win. impur
BTW did anyone watch the Zona game all the way thru? At the end when the Ducks were up with 2 seconds left the camera went to this Zona fan. She was bawling her eyes out, it was freaking hilarious. We rewound it like 10 times to watch. I'm gonna pause it and get a pic to put up.
mister crabs
lol...i watched the game but i didnt see that......my wife came home during last couple minutes and was talking to me .....had to at least act like i was paying attention to her... impur
Ducks got anothe win, finally beating Stanturd for the first time in 7 tries. None of the current Ducks have ever beaten Stanturd. The trees tried to play an aggessive, physical game but the refs weren't having it. They called the game close from the start and the trees never adjusted. That gave the Ducks a huge advantage at the line, and the trees couldn't defend as tight with so many guys in foul trouble. Once again, AB proved to be the differenece getting a double double 19pts 10rebs and going 10/10 at the line. GREAT WIN!!! 17-1 baby!!! BRING ON CAL!!! Beavs lost...again, to Cal by 2. Jones had a great game, too bad only 2 or 3 guys really play for the beavs, the rest just mope around waiting for the game to end. Pathetic. Jay John can't get those guys motivated. Nyles
Go Brooks! Good game for him and nice free throws for Porter! 33 for 35 for the season!
impur
Here it is, and its about time. AB getting Player Of the Year recognition!!!! http://insider.espn.go.com/ncb/insider/columns/story?columnist=bilas_jay&id=2735169&action=upsell&appRedirect=http%3a%2f%2finsider.espn.go.com%2fncb%2finsider%2fcolumns%2fstory%3fcolumnist%3dbilas_jay%26id%3d2735169
mister crabs
nice.....good to see. I didnt think the game was called tight enough. there were too many times that stanford committed blatant handcheck fouls on drives to the basket that went uncalled. and how bout that intentional foul on either taylor or hairston driving to the basket that went uncalled. impur
I completely agree. But looking at the end foul results, 28-16, i think it worked out in the end.
impur
Another solid weedend for the Ducks, beat up on Cal 92-84. Ducks shot 54% from the field. Great game!! Tough away stretch coming up, at both Washington schools then travel down to LA. I'm hoping for a 3-1 trip, but 2-2 would be nice. GO DUCKS!!! Up to #7 baby!!! 18-1!!!! impur
Well this is certainly not the same team w/o AB. Down by 3 with 3 min left, the Ducks fumbled the ball away on 6 straight trips. 6 straight UNFORCED turnovers!!!!!!!!!!!!! My god it was painful to watch the ball slip thru guys hands, dribble it off their knees, or just roll it out of bounds. Ugly game for the Ducks. TP was exposed on the defensive end by Dentmon who just dominated this game. I thought this was the only real winnable game on this 4 game road trip. Now its a real uphill battle and coming out 1-3 on the trip would be something, but it looks like 0-4 is more realistic. [language filter]. Beavs got toasted again, nothing new there. They are gonna battle ASU for the last spot in the Pac all year.
mister crabs
i will bet they get a 2-2 split....I think they can take the cougs on saturday and USC in LA.....but UCLA is gonna be tough down there.
mister crabs
ducks got a tough win over the cougs......tough environment to play in as well.....maybe can pull off a sweep of LA schools on the road...who knows.....arizona got smacked around by UNC though...ouch....
