Does anybody know a good worm reference?

Does anybody know of a good resource with pictures(yeah, I never got past the grade school need for pictures with my books (drooler) LOL) of the types of worms, both good and bad, that are common in reef systems? I've seen these two worms :eek:inside of a live rock that I don't know if they are beneficial or not and would like to do some research on them.

I sometimes wonder if the cons outweight the pros of using live rock. Always wondering if you've got a pest in there that could be a time bomb scares the heck out of me sometimes. Must be the anxiety of setting up my first reef that is triggering my paranoia.(scary)

you could also try the Reef Invertebrates book by Robert Fenner and Anthony Calfo, if I recall that had a good section on worms. If you can get pictures of them you might post them on this forum; marinedepot.com/forums, post them under Ronald Schimeks section, He is a very knowledgeable source on marine invertabrates and he even taught at OSU for a time.

Good luck

Well myn paranoia got the best of me and I ended up just pulling the rock they were on and putting it outside in the rain in a bowl. This morning he was floating dead in the water. Looked like a eunicid(sp?) worm. It killed the few mushrooms on the rock and I assume the sponges as well but I can live with that. I put the rock back in the tank and noticed the shrooms were disintegrating and mushing up. Well I guess I know have my ammonia to cycle the tank with! Forunately there was nothing in the tank already so no big deal. =)
