Frank
Does anyone have a Linksys Router? I need one for my Apex...(scary) Just to clarify... it needs to be a Linksys Router because I need to turn it into an access point for the Apex to work. Help!!! Thanks Frank! Call me if you have one - 503.969.2008
CA2OR
I have an extra Linksys....now that I think about it. Quick note, doesn't have to be linksys to be used as a gateway.
Frank
True but but I think it is easier to do if they are both the same.... So how can I get the one you have need it bad to up date my controller...
grassi
Frank, be sure it is a WRT or at least in the supported list: http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Supported_Devices Eric, I think Frank wants to use it as a Bridge, so the Linksys with embedded Linux are a great option. Rick
Let me know if you don't get one from Eric. I'm pretty sure I have a gigabit linksys but need to check to be sure. (Just need to be sure it's linksys instead of dlink)

Rick
The one I have turned out to be a Dlink. Your welcome to try it if you want. (It's just a backup in case my wireless router fails)
CA2OR
Hmm....I don't know if it is WRT. I will have to check. Also I need to find the power cable. Might be better to pick one up anyway. I have heard there is a fry's out here they usually have good deals. I typically wont waste the gas, I would just shoot to bestbuy or costco might even have them. Matter fact, I know is So Cal Home Depot has them....might be worth a call.
Rick
If you go to buy new then here are a couple of options over on that side of town: ENU Hillsboro - http://enuinc.com/directions_h.html WRT54G2 ($52) http://enuinc.com/wl-link-rt-54g2.html and Iguana Micro - http://iguanamicro.com/info.html WRT54G2 (Same one for $58) http://iguanamicro.com/li80wiromowr.html Fry's has the same one for $49.99 but it's probably a little further away.
