downhill_biker
I am so freaking frustrated. Anyone know how to catch a cleaner shrimp in a large tank? I tried at night, feeding, sneaking up on them. I know that they dash backwards when they get scared so I always come behind. I got one of the two in the net once but it got out before I could get it out of the tank. I need to remove them before I use the interceptor to treat redbugs. I am to the point that I am just going to treat and hope they dont die. If they do, well... Unless someone has an idea? All of the crabs are caught, I just need to catch these 2 shrimp! nwcoralfarm
You have probably already tried but throw some food in a big net and have another one right across from it. Then just wait for him to climb in. Good luck man, I hope you can catch him.

snowpunk
I caught mine in my old tank with 2 nets. get one behind him(big one) and go at him with the other one and they will usually go right in it not knowing...

madmike
I've treated my tank twice with interceptor and my cleaner survived both treatments.
moovinfast
We did the bottle method like Kilmca said. Thats how we caught two of our peppermint shrimp.
downhill_biker
I tried the bottle and after about 6 hours they still wouldn't go near it. I ended up pulling a couple rocks, and caught one of the two. the other is going to endure the treatment...i hope. I just added the treatment and half hour later he is still doing good. nwcoralfarm
I swear they know when they are being hunted too, if you mess with them a couple of times they will avoid you like the plague, ha ha. Glad to hear you caught 1 at least though.
